Provide an overview of our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution in the context of the early history of our United States. It is always important, and even more so during the 250th birthday of our nation, that each of us pause, read, and reflect on these remarkable documents, remind ourselves of These Truths, and dedicate ourselves to the unfinished work of We the People that government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth.

Sue and Jeff Clark were married in 1982. Their 3 children are happily married; they have 3 happy granddaughters and a golden doodle.

During his 35 years of military service, Jeff served as a family medicine physician with teams in both garrison and operational assignments and as commander at the clinic, hospital, academic medical center, and geographic regional levels and as COO and CMO at the enterprise level.

During the last decade of his military career he served as Commander, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center; Commander, Europe Regional Medical Command; Director, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center; Director, National Capitol Region Multi-Service Market; J3, Director of Health Care Operations, CMO, and MHS GENESIS Functional Champion, Defense Health Agency; and Deputy Commanding General for Operations and Chief of the Medical Corps, US Army Medical Command.

He currently serves in semiretirement as a DHA Senior Mentor Advisor, Army Medicine Executive Consultant, and as Medical Director, Semper Fi & America’s Fund; and on the nonprofit Boards of the Military Officers of America Association (MOAA); the Madigan Foundation; WarDocs: The Military Medicine Podcast; the American College of Nurse Midwives; the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians Foundation; and Steilacoom Kiwanis Foundation
